Welcome to Dawn ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Dawn.

This Privacy Policy applies to our application named Dawn, and its associated subdomains (collectively, our "Service"). A. Personal Data

When you use our Service, we may collect certain information that is not personally identifiable, but may be linked to your device or usage patterns. If you create an account, we may collect your email address via Firebase Authentication.

B. Usage Data & Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand how people use our app and to improve its performance. This may include:

• Device information (model, OS version)
• App crash logs
• Usage metrics (session duration, features used)

C. Financial Data

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. While we do not process payments directly, RevenueCat may collect and process purchase history and subscription status linked to an anonymous app user ID. We do not have access to your credit card or payment details.

D. Installed Applications (Device-Local Only)

To provide the core functionality of Digital Detox, our app needs to check which applications are installed on your device.

• How we use it: We strictly use this permission to allow you to select apps to block and to detect when a blocked app is running.
• Data Privacy: This data is processed locally on your device. We DO NOT upload, store, or share your list of installed applications with any external server or third party.

3. Visual and Audio permissions

A. Accessibility Service API

Dawn uses the Android Accessibility Service API to function as a digital wellbeing tool.

• Purpose: The service is used solely to detect when you open a restricted app during an active "Detox" session and to show a blocking overlay.
• Data Privacy: We DO NOT use the Accessibility Service to collect personal data, read screen content (screen scraping), or capturing keystrokes. The service is active only to enforce the restrictions you have set.

B. System Alert Window (Overlay)

We use the Overlay permission to display a "Get back to sleep" or "Focus" screen over other apps when an active session is running.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• To facilitate our Service;
• To provide the Service on our behalf;
• To perform Service-related services; or
• To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Key third-party providers include:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Auth, Crashlytics)
• RevenueCat (Subscriptions)

5. Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
